*Lovely, lovely Lauren made me icons of Tommy Bowe. This makes me very happy. What doesn't make me happy is going squee! over rugby players yet knowing fuck-all about rugby. Going to have to try and learn then, aren't I?
*Also, celebrating Ireland rugby team's grand slam win made made even more confused as to my identity (yes, this is carrying over, sorry). I STILL don't know where I'm from. Ireland in this case may mean the whole place - some of those lads are from Ulster, the place, not the team - but, still. Likewise with an Ireland shirt, say. Am I likely to get the everlasting shit kicked out of me for wearing one? I DON'T KNOW.
*I hate that Northern Ireland still has these problems. Where can you and where can you not wear a shirt? What a bullshit problem to have.

tersa put it, better they're having difficulty than it being too easy, like last year. ~shudders~ But we don't want to think about thaaaat...
*NHL PLAYOFFS START A WEEK TODAY AAAAAIEEEEEE!!! Best time of the year. There will be a big long post about this in the near future, but for now, first of all: oh my god hurry up Sunday, so that all these standings can be finalised, we know who's in or out, we know who's playing who, and there are no more goddamn what-ifs...
*I have purchased an Edinburgh Capitals jersey. This would seal my transfer from being a Giants fan to being a Caps fan. As the Caps aren't managed by a pillock, don't lie, don't break the rules, don't piss off EVERYONE ELSE IN THE LEAGUE EVER, and are a genuinely likeable bunch, even if they don't win things. It's not about the winning, It was never about winning for me - but lie and cheat and lord it over others, and I will refuse to be a fan. I won't see the Caps often, but I'll be a lot happier cheering an honest team from afar than cheering the ones on my doorstep while knowing they couldn't give a flying fuck about, oh you know, ACTUAL SPORTSMANSHIP.
*It has been raining for five days. It is not showing any signs of stopping. This is getting on my wick.
*On that note, I used to think I was a negative person. Then I came back to work and realised that, in comparison, I have a positively sunny disposition! Good lord…
*I am off for a week after today, because of Easter and phased return to work programme and such. I shall use this time to watch even more comedy than before. And hockey too! <3
*I ADORE Howling Bells. New album = lovely lovely lovely lovely lovely.

I have a similar identity crisis. People call me scouse when they hear where i'm from, but I've never lived in Liverpool. I'm learning Welsh but i've never lived in Wales. Old people say i'm from Cheshire because where i'm from USED to be in Cheshire.
My mum has a Liverpool phone number, and a chester postcode that prints in Welsh.....
